This Privacy Policy explains what information Online Quiz Portal by Bhavesh Ki Pathshala ("we", "us") collects when you use our website https://quiz.bhaveshpatel.in and our Android mobile app (together, the "Service"), how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the Service you agree to this policy.

1. Information we collect

Information you give us

  • Account details: your name, email address and password. Your password is stored only as a one-way encrypted hash — we cannot read it.
  • Quiz activity: the tests you start, the answers you choose, your scores, results, timings and test history.
  • Messages: if you use the contact form, your name, email address, subject and message.

Information collected automatically

  • Technical and security data: your IP address, the time of your last login, and — for the mobile app — the device name, platform (Android/iOS) and app version, so that we can keep your account secure, show you your active devices and prevent abuse.
  • Server logs: security and error events (for example failed login attempts) that may contain your email address or IP address.
  • Cookies (website only): a session cookie that keeps you logged in and protects forms (strictly necessary), and — only if you accept the cookie banner — Google Analytics cookies that measure how the site is used (IP addresses are anonymised).

We do not collect your precise or approximate location, contacts, photos, camera or microphone data, or payment information. The Service does not show advertising.

2. How we use your information

  • To create and secure your account, and to send you one-time verification codes and password-reset emails.
  • To let you take quizzes, see your results and history, and appear on the leaderboard.
  • To keep the Service safe: detect and limit abuse, repeated failed logins and fake sign-ups.
  • To answer your messages and to improve the Service.

We do not sell your personal information and we do not use it for advertising.

3. What other people can see

The leaderboard shows a shortened version of your name (for example "Bhavesh P.") together with your scores. Your email address, full name, password and test answers are never shown to other users.

4. Who we share information with

We share information only with service providers that help us run the Service, and only what they need:

  • Hosting provider — stores the website, the app's server and its database.
  • Email delivery service — sends verification codes and reset emails to your address.
  • Cloudflare Turnstile (website forms, when enabled) — a bot check that receives your IP address and browser signals.
  • Google Analytics / Google Tag Manager (website only, and only if you accept cookies) — usage statistics.

We may also disclose information if the law requires it or to protect the Service and its users.

5. Security

Data is sent over encrypted HTTPS connections. Passwords, login tokens and verification codes are stored only in hashed form. We limit login and code attempts, and only authorised administrators can access user data. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information.

6. How long we keep information

  • Account and quiz data: for as long as your account exists.
  • One-time verification codes: valid for a few minutes and deleted automatically within a day. Password-reset links expire after one hour.
  • Contact messages: until we have dealt with them.
  • Server logs: only as long as needed for security and troubleshooting.

7. Your choices, access and account deletion

You can view and update your name and password in your account on the website. You can ask us to give you a copy of your data, to correct it, or to delete your account and the quiz data linked to it.

How to request deletion: email bhaveshkipathshala13@gmail.com from the email address registered on your account with the subject "Delete my account" (or use the contact page). We will verify the request and delete your account and associated data, normally within 30 days. Some limited information may be kept where the law requires or for security records.

8. Children

The Service is intended for learners aged 13 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date above shows when it was last changed; significant changes will be announced on the website.
